Public IP Address Check
See the public IP address your connection exposes — on public Wi-Fi or a VPN.
Click below to inspect your current outbound IP address. For the most accurate check, run this test once before turning on your VPN, and once after connecting. This check queries api.ipify.org to detect your IP — nothing is stored by us.
What is a DNS leak?
When you connect to the internet, your device sends requests to a DNS server to translate domain names (like newcomerkit.ca) into IP addresses. If your VPN is improperly configured, these requests may bypass the encrypted tunnel and go directly to your Canadian ISP (such as Rogers, Bell, or Telus), allowing them to log every site you visit.
